‘Friends’ utilizes visuals and specifically the power of montage to effectively complement the video’s music. ‘Friends’ paints an array of “day in the life” scenes depicting companionship. While this effectively presents motifs, overall some themes and ideas could have been more focused and fine tuned. Overall, ‘Friends’ is a great video that leaves the viewer in a reflexive state of introspection, likely thinking about the relationships in their life. Great work.
